Chief Financial Officer
The Chaldean Eparchy of St. Thomas the Apostle is seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the staff of the Eparchy. The CFO is responsible for the broad range management of accounting, finance, human resources, benefit plans, insurance, investments, budgets, information technology, parish/school independent foundations, facilities, legal liaison, building projects and land acquisition/sales and cemeteries.
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, auditing, or equivalent experience with a MBA and CPA preferred and seven to fifteen years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least five years of experience working with non-profit organizations. Must have knowledge of a full range of accounting and financial systems and general business management as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and the ability to understand and utilize software programs is required. Candidates must be an active, participating member in full communion with the Catholic Church along with being knowledgeable of its structure, functions and institutions. Chaldean ancestry may be useful but not required.
