Securatech, a security company owned by Rudy Patros, had its grand opening at a new location on Farmington Hills. The event was celebrated in tandem with the U.S. Army and the Great Lakes Army Recruiting Battalion.

The company offers a unique approach to security for its clients and has partnerships with the army to provide opportunities to local veterans. Specifically, Securatech is a partner in the Army’s PaYS (Partnership for Your Success) program, which is an effort by the military to connect veterans with relevant jobs in their communities.

“I am confident the soldiers available within this program will possess the qualities we are looking for to fill these open positions,” Patros said. “A rigorous screening and training process is followed when it comes to hiring security guards and protection details.”

According to Abbie Jackson, who works at Securatech in Human Resources, many of the applicants they receive through this program have never applied to a job. “There are many soldiers who enter the Army right out of high school that have never interviewed for a job or written a resume,” she said. “Securatech guarantees that every soldier who applies for a position through the PaYS program will be granted an interview. We can give candidates feedback to assist their job search moving forward.”
