Kroger Cares

The Chaldean Community Foundation (CCF) celebrated Kroger’s grand reopening and ribbon cutting on Oct. 3 at 18 Mile & Dequindre in Sterling Heights.

Kroger representatives, store staff, and community leaders marked nearly $2 million in upgrades to the store, where many members of our Chaldean community work. Store Manager Eddie Kacho presented a $5,000 donation to the Chaldean Community Foundation to support cooking classes and food distribution programs.

Mayor Michael Taylor also shared kind words about the Foundation’s work and the Chaldean community’s contributions to Sterling Heights.

The CCF extends a warm congratulations and appreciation to the entire Kroger team and their continued partnership and support!
