Maria Osmano has been appointed Human Resources Director for NoMad Detroit, the highly anticipated luxury hotel opening within Detroit’s historic Michigan Central district. Maria joins NoMad Detroit following nearly twelve years with Cicero Hospitality Group, where she most recently served as Vice President of People, Brand & Operations.

As a female executive and Metro Detroit native with Chaldean and Italian heritage, Maria represents a new generation of diverse leadership helping shape Detroit’s continued growth as one of the country’s most exciting hospitality and development markets. A graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, her multidisciplinary background reflects the local foundation, perspective, and leadership experience that have shaped her throughout her career and continue to guide her as she steps into this next chapter.
