On Thursday, September 29, the Chaldean Community Foundation celebrated its fourth annual Gala to honor individuals who have contributed significantly to the success of the community. This year, the honoree for Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy was Akram Kareem. The event was held at the Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township with United Healthcare as the presenting sponsor.
