CACC Board of Directors Election

The results of the midterms are still reverberating throughout the nation but they aren’t the only election in town – the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting and Board Election was held at Shenandoah Country Club on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Eleven candidates ran for seven open seats on the CACC’s Board of Directors. After a brief program where Martin Manna, Chamber president, ran through the accomplishments of 2022 and the plans for 2023, the eleven candidates each had an opportunity to address the membership and campaign for their votes. The winning candidates were Kevin Denha with 150 votes; Sylvester Sandiha, 147; Renee Tomina, 147; Jim Manna, 138; Frank Jarbou, 126; Jayson Zebari, 103; and Andi Numan with 100 votes. There were 162 votes cast. The new Board member’s term will begin January 1, 2023, and the term duration is two years.
