The first mission of the Chaldean Sisters was to address the crisis of homeless Chaldean youth. In 1927, the Sisters founded an orphanage in Baghdad. Because of war, the orphanage was moved up north to different Christian towns. Eventually, it settled in Alqosh, where the orphans and the sisters that care for them still reside today.
