On Friday, September 26, the CCF celebrated their 7th Annual Awards Gala at the Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township. With more than 700 guests in attendance, the CCF celebrated an evening dedicated to service, culture, and unity. Hungary Helps was presented with the Humanitarian of the Year Award for their steadfast commitment to persecuted Christians worldwide, including those in Iraq and the Chaldean community.

On July 17, the Chaldean Professional Network (CPN) kicked off the event season with an old school barbeque in CCF West’s Jarbou Family Courtyard. Grill masters from Nonna Maria’s Bistro crossed the road to attend the burgers, sausages and chicken skewers while two bars served delicious drinks from Sandiha Winery and El Cristiano Tequila and Yogrt2Go capped off the evening with tasty bowls of frozen yogurt topped with customizable flavors. Over 150 guests mingled and networked, enjoying the beats dropped by DJ Joe Sesi.

Author Jacob Bacall hosted a special book launch event on Thursday evening, May 15, at Shenandoah Country Club to celebrate his new book, Chaldean Catholic Church, co-written by Bishop Bawai Soro. The book celebrates the rich history and legacy of the Chaldean Catholic Church and marks Mother of God Church’s 75th anniversary.

Nearly 90 CACC members shared an insightful evening at the Chaldean American Chamber’s Industry Outlook event on March 20. The event, hosted by Vision Investment Partners, provided attendees the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the world of strategic advocacy.
